The Benefits of Registration

Although anyone can view most of the material without registration, all visitors are encouraged to register with the site. Doing so will give you the ability to join the discussion forums, customize some settings to your preference, and post comments to the various stories and news items. We will never sell your e-mail address to mailing lists, so don't refrain from joining the fun based upon that concern. To register, use the "Sign-Up" link at the bottom right of this screen or alternately, just click here. And one other thing... if you register you won't have to look at this notice again or see gratuitous advertisements like: Snowmobilers -- want a great spot to stay with miles of trails available?

The new site includes a lot more information. There is a free part of the website which contains the information previously available on the other sites. The premium service is very affordable and you can now sign up using are subscription link, shown at the right. Be sure to check out the special offers! We hope you enjoy the new site and we encourage you to join in and take advantage of the new interactive format!

Mat Side with Rich Vetock
Wrestling – A “Cult”?

The 2003 wrestling season is now in full swing and already several dual meets are under the belts of the majority of teams across the state.  Christmas tournaments have also been wrestled and you can bet that all of these wrestlers have the same goals and dreams of getting to Hershey in March. As in every year, there is going to be joy and happiness with many of these grapplers, and you can also be certain that disappointment will also prevail in many cases throughout the state.

Josh Haines & Jon Oplinger – Northampton’s Dynamic Duo
Best Wrestlers, Best Friends
By Rich Vetock

Josh Haines and Jon Oplinger each captured a PIAA title last season. Both were juniors and they wrestled a weight class apart. They were considered the stalwarts of a Northampton team that crowned four, yes, that’s right, four PIAA champions. The other two were the Ecklof brothers, Jeff and Joey. With four champs the Konkrete Kids were able to capture the team championship over arch-rival, Easton Area.
