Greetings sports fanatics! Today the ND Crusaders played host to the Catasuaqua Roughriders in a 1-8 quaterfinal matchup in the Colonial League tournament. Through the first 2 and a half quarters, it looked like ND would cruise to the semis with a 15 point lead midway through the 3rd. However, Catty wouldn’t go away quietly and cut the deficit to 8 with a buzzer-beater 3. After being held to only 3 points in the 1st 3 quarters, Jake Fotta would take over the game by scoring 8 points in the 4th. His last bucket, a layup with 58.8 left in the game, would seal the deal and the Roughriders stunned the 2 time defending champs 69-66!! Fotta stated that the Roughriders took the loss to the Crusaders the first time around personally.
