Lafayette defeats Wilkes

Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards hosted the Wilkes Colonials. It was a battle in the 1st half, as the Leopards led by 6 34-28 at halftime. In the 2nd half, the Leopards defense stepped up, allowing only 8 successful shots out of 28 attempts as Lafayette pulled away for a 69-53 victory!! The Leopards were led by Eric Sondberg who had 16 points. Sondberg stated it was nice to get victory after a sluggish 1st half!
