Greetings sports fanatics! Today the Lafayette Leopards played host to the Loyola Greyhounds. The Greyhounds got off to a hot start, as they led 17-12 after the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Leopard offense started to find its rythem and led 27-26 at half. After struggling in the 1st half, Lex Therien scored the Greyhounds 1st 5 points of the 3rd. The Greyhounds offense took advantage of Theriens hot start, as they led 44-37. The Leopards would get as close as 2 with 2:45 left in the game, but couldn't answer and the Greyhounds left with a 61-52 upset victory! Therien, who finished with 17 points and 21 rebounds, stated it was nice to pull off the upset!
