Greetings sports fanatics! Today is the 50th Lehigh Valley All Star Classic at NCC. The Colonial League combo of Bangor’s Avery Nelson and Pen Argyl’s Julia Vargo helped the North All Stars to a 59-40 victory over the South All Stars. Nelson, a Susquehanna recruit, won MVP honors with a double-double ( 15 points and 10 rebounds), 2 blocks and 2 steals. Milly Wolf of Central Catholic was the MVP for the South with 14 points. The East destroyed the West 81-44 in the other game. The MVPs were Cara Thomas of NW Lehigh for the West and Mekhyla Britt of Beca for the East. Nelson stated she was proud to represent Bangor in today’s all star game!
